FAQ's
I have an older model Fuji. Can you provide some information on this model?
|
Information for previous year’s models can be accessed at the following sites: |
If you need information regarding models from 1999 or earlier, your best bet is to take it to a local dealer for a visual inspection.
My dealer doesn’t have a specific model or size in stock. Can you help me find it?
Unfortunately there is not an easy way for us to determine our dealers’ current inventories. It is not unusual for a bike to be special ordered and pre-sold before it even arrives at the dealer. For this reason, attempting to locate a bike through our history of purchase orders is not a good way to track down a bike. However, we do have a dealer locator at the bottom of our home page that can help you find the dealers closest to you. If a dealer does not have a particular model and size in stock, they may be willing to special order one.
Can I buy a bike from you directly?
We strongly believe in the importance of the service that is provided by a local dealer who can help you in person. Your local Fuji dealer can assist you with choosing the model that best matches your riding style and goals, selecting the proper size and ensure that the bike is properly assembled. Your local dealer can also provide service and maintenance after the sale. For these reasons, our bikes are sold only through our network of local dealers.
Is touch up paint available?
We do not have original touch up paint available. However, toy and hobby stores often carry a wide variety of paints for model cars, airplanes, etc. that can provide a very close match.
I didn’t receive an owner’s manual. How can I get one?
Owner’s manuals are included with each bike when they are shipped from the factories. The shop where you purchased the bike should have one available. If they do not, please e-mail a request (including your mailing address) to info@fujiuk.com and we will send one as they become available. We do not have the owner’s manual available in a format to be e-mailed at this time.
Will the owner’s manual help me repair my bike?
Owner’s manuals are rather generic by necessity. With several dozen models of bicycles that change every year, it is simply not feasible to write a specific manual for each individual bike every year. If you need specific maintenance advice, ask your local bike shop if they provide seminars on bike maintenance. There are also quite a few good books about maintenance available, as well as internet sites dedicated to the topic.
